The Process
If you're interested in pursuing a development path with us, you'll be interested
in knowing the formal process of taking a concept through to delivery. Here are
the steps:
- The Client approaches Ipiya with a concept.
- Ipiya analyzes, and makes a proposal with tentative costs pending a full requirements
analysis phase. Costs for full requirements analysis are included in the proposal.
- Client accepts proposal, and authorizes the requirements analysis stage with a written
purchase order.
- Ipiya gathers requirements, and amends proposal with a formal quotation for fixed
price development, a billing schedule, and a development schedule.
- Client accepts amended proposal, and billing schedule by signing a development contract,
or authorizing purchase orders.
- Development proceeds.

All of our software developers have solid training in computer science and a commitment
to staying on top of developments in the field. We maintain strong skills in the

to develop a library of reusable object-oriented code which speeds development and
ensures the robustness of the resulting software (since the code of the individual
objects is constantly being re-used and tested under new conditions and constraints)
- an emphasis on low communications overhead: our ideal is one client-side person
dealing with a single Ipiya person, as this has proven to keep client costs to a
minimum while ensuring the quality of our own work is maintained
